Featured Friday: Barista’s Coffee House
Hello, Hello, Hello! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week, we are so excited to announce our third week of our Featured Friday segment. Thank you to everyone who has been showing such immense support, we have had such a great time meeting and connecting with such awesome businesses and individuals. Once again if you have any local, POC, Woman owned, or ethical businesses you feel would fit into our brand, please shoot them our way! Now onto the featured business, that is very close and dear to our heart.
Like most human beings who roam this Earth, Birdi and I are absolutely obsessed with coffee shops. We are always seeking out the most aesthetic yet quality cup of joe or tea wherever we find ourselves, and have stumbled upon some of the most amazing locations. However, our holy grail coffee shop, and what will always be our absolute favorite is Baristas Coffee Shop. So, imagine the excitement we felt when Baristas ever so graciously agreed to partner with us so that we can feature them on our blog. We decided to put together a fun and different blog for you guys so here are Three Holidays Drinks you Should Try this Season.
With Holiday season just around the corner we decided to put together a little list of drinks everyone should try to spice up their morning coffee this year and really dive into what makes these drinks special! We would just like to say before starting, Baristas truly uses such high grade ingredients and really goes the extra mile to ensure all of their products meet an exceptional standard. From the kind of coffee bean they use to creating their own holiday whipped cream, it is no wonder why each product comes out with amazing perfection.
The first wonderful holiday drink they made us was called a Blended Snowflake, which is such a popular drink that it is actually year round. Essentially it is a peppermint white mocha that is blended to perfection that is topped with their hand made peppermint whipped cream. Off the bat the coloring of the drink sets you up for the perfect instagram shot, and makes you even more excited to try this festive beverage. After sipping up this awesome drink, all we can say is you need to go try it! It has the perfect taste balance of the coffee bean, sweetness from the white mocha, and as the whipped cream slowly melts into the drink you get an awesome flow of mint that leaves you feeling refreshed and energetic.
The second drink they made us was called a Gingerbread Chai Latte, and holy wow! Let me paint a mental picture for you. Imagine sitting with your family in a warm kitchen with frosted windows, Christmas music playing in the background, and you're all baking cookies, You slowly nibble on gingerbread and sip your warm beverage and your heart smiles with contentment. This drinks literally is that but in a cup of chai latte, seriously! This hot beverage is the perfect way to start a cold morning and this was probably my favorite drink out of the bunch. They add a ton of yummy ingredients to make this delicious drink, like powdered chai, cinnamon, nutmeg, and then they top the drink off with gingerbread crumbs and made from scratch pumpkin whipped cream. You seriously need to try this drink, you will not regret it!
For our third and final beverage the barista made us a Pumpkin Carmel Nut iced mocha, which was just as equally delicious as the other drinks. They blend an espresso shot and pour it over ice giving the mocha a nice strong coffee taste that envelopes your mouth. This drink has some really awesome toppings that really bring the whole flavor together, like their Ghirardelli caramel and pumpkin whipped cream. All of the ingredients are so unique in their taste palette yet work so wonderfully well together.
While talking and trying all these beverages, OnBrand really was able to watch the owner and the staff interact in their work environment. Some key themes that the baristas wanted our audience to know was just how thankful they are for our community and just overall the support that they have been shown. Times right now are hard for businesses, and people have the space to choose what businesses they want to support, but Baristas is so grateful for all of their customers continuously choosing them. When talking with the baristas they said that their favorite part of their job is seeing their regulars, helping make peoples days better, and working with their coworkers! Watching behind the counter, you can tell the staff are so close and have created a family like environment which is so refreshing to see!
Overall, we are just so excited to be able to highlight and feature such an aspiring and positive local businesses. This really just shows how making someone their perfect cup of coffee in the morning and showing them a smile can really brighten and change a persons day, resulting in a more positive and engaging community. They have been opened since the 90’s and are truly that perfect mom and pop shop, and supporting a small business means supporting your community and other families. We applaud Baristas on every front, and will be customers for life!
