Happy 1st Friday of the new year everyone! To shake things up a bit for 2021, it is I Birdi, giving you this weeks Featured Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and I would just like to thank you guys for starting the new year with us. We received a lot of amazing business recommendations which we really appreciate and we are so excited to start this year off with a bang, so without further ado lets jump into this blog.
Harry’s is an all men’s (for now) grooming line that I have been personally following for about 5 to 6 years now, so I thought it was only right that I take over for this Friday. When I first heard of Harrys it was an ad through a radio station that I was listening to. I went home, typed in the code given to me through the radio and only paid the $5 shipping cost, and was sent a Harry’s razor and shaving cream a couple days later! Ever since then I have been hooked on their brand line and went on to order more products. Now I am a proud frequent user of the Harry’s product line. The company has grown in immense ways, from only selling basic shaving needs to now having a full line of men skin care products, hair products, bath products, deodorant and having their own spot in Target!
Let’s begin where it all started, with the shave. Now each Harry’s blade is ethically manufactured at a warehouse in Germany. Harry’s is all about giving the best quality, at a fraction of the price for better accessibility to their customers. Guys, we all know how expensive regular grooming products are, that’s why Jeff and Andy, the founders of Harry’s, created this brand. As is says on their about webpage, “Jeff and Andy, created Harry’s because they were tired of overpaying for over-designed razors. Instead, they wanted simple, high-quality product that felt good to use, all at a fair price.” The razors come with a 5 blade cartridge with a precision trimmer at the top, and a perfect ergonomic handle design to keep you the most comfortable while shaving.
Now the rest of their products range from body care, face care, to even hair care. All products are made from ethically sourced materials and never contain harsh sulfates, parabens, or dyes. The face care line features face lotion, after shave balm, aftershave mist and face wash. The face wash is made with natural essentials oils that wake your face up and make you feel more refreshed and ready to start your day. In the shower department there are 4 different body washes/soap bars and 4 different 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners. For being a 2 in 1 hair care product, it actually does really well! It creates a nice lather in your hair that I like to wash once and then lather again and leave on for the duration of my shower. It washes away all the sweat and dirt without stripping away your natural oils!
What makes Harry’s such a great brand is not only there amazing products, but also what they stand for. Every year Harry’s brand donates 1% of all proceeds to different charities that support mens mental health. As stated on their about page, “At Harry’s, we believe in better access to mental health care. With help from our roster of long-standing partners, we’re on track to reach 500,000 men—and donate $5 million—by 2021.” We at OnBrand love and support this so much, and extremely value a company that consistently goes above and beyond the consumers norm. A couple of the charities that they donate include but are not limited to, CALM, Headstrong and The Trevor Project that is the worlds largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people.
Watching Harry’s grow from just shaving products to now a whole grooming line (with talks of a female line coming soon!), it has been truly inspirational. From their quality in design and ethical standards, to their social message and donations, we at OnBrand give Harry’s a well deserved round of applause.
