Featured Friday: Novelty Picnic
Good Afternoon Everyone and Welcome back to another Featured Friday. Today is such an extremely special day for two unique reasons. Along with today’s Featured Friday blog we will be hosting a super awesome giveaway with this company to give a supporter a free picnic and photoshoot! Secondly, it is my business partner and more importantly best friends birthday! No one will ever truly know how much Birdi absolutely means to me and thank you for giving me the space and support to chase my dreams and challenge my growth. You push me everyday to rise to all of my passions, face adversity with a smile, and be my authentic self. You are hands down the best person I have ever known, Birdi and this business have saved my life in ways you could never imagine. To pair along with such a momentous day we ensured to pick a company that is really close to our hearts, so lets jump into this weeks Feature.
Novelty Picnic is a beautiful boho-themed picnic company based in Tracy, ran by a fabulous woman that has inspired me in many ways named Elizabeth. We began networking with Elizabeth through Instagram and we really enjoyed connecting about the small business community and trying to challenge the social norm with starting a new business. Elizabeth decided to start her business because she wanted to do something that was fun, fulfilling and allowed her an outlet to chase a passion. She combined some of her other interests such as her love for interior design and working on DIY projects to be able to create a picnic business based off of details and pleasing aesthetics. Her picnic business is perfect for any birthday party, date night, and friend hang out making this the opportune business to make any special event even better, with little to no stress for the client. Currently she is running a lot of home friendly events due to COVID so even during social distancing you can have a slice of this beautiful boho aesthetic in the comfort of your own home. Elizabeth is also very flexible to all of her customers needs and is open to any add ons that are needed.
Not only is Elizabeth’s business so incredibly creative and fun, but Elizabeth is also such a special business owner. On top of running her own business she is getting her bachelors in psychology and is a preschool teacher. She is every bit a Cancer, which we absolutely love, making her sweet, caring, emotionally connecting, and funny. Throughout this entire Featured Friday process we discussed a plethora of topics which included spirituality, the power of manifestation, and truly trying to create a life that you’re in love with. She has continued to show me that there are so many Twenty-Somethings out there following their dreams and creating businesses like never before. I hope this shows our readers that no matter what the passion is, from starting a blog to creating a picnic basket, you can choose everyday to want better and start something new for yourself. Some social causes that Elizabeth and her business supports include street vendors, immigrants, LGBT, Pro-Life, and the power of science. She wants all of our readers to know that you should never forget about your mental health and that you should always take the time to care for yourself. There is no better way to take time and relax, then with a fabulous picnic that you can enjoy with your loved ones, so I hope you all get to enjoy one of these amazing set ups.
Its truly been a pleasure working with such a great company and our photoshoot day was filled with laughs, sushi, and some awesome memories.
