Featured Friday: Nuud
Hello everyone, and Happy Friday! The weekend is upon us and we're very excited to be celebrating my moms birthday, what are you guys up to this weekend? This weeks featured Friday is a product that I have been using and loving for over six months and has quickly turned into one of my holy grail products! Let's get into this weeks product.
Nuud was one of my saving graces when I started using all natural and ethically sourced products. I have always had a hard time using different deodorants because I have such sensitive skin and a lot of different products extremely irritate me. The issue only seemed to get worse once I switched over to aluminum free and natural deodorants and I was about ready to give up. That is until I got an Instagram ad for an anti-odorant company based out of Europe and I figured I had nothing to loose. The product boasted a magically effective cream for fresh armpits that you only had to apply every three to seven days and was an all natural company. I was defiantly suspicious but I ordered the product anyway.
Well butter my biscuits, this stuff really is magical and has quickly become one of my favorite all natural products that I currently use. This product works so effectively because it is so different than anything else on the market. The company does not use any aluminum, fragrances, parabens, dodgy chemicals, alcohol, and plastics within its product, but uses micro-silver which neutralizes bacteria (Genius, right?). I also really appreciate the fact that the company practices extreme eco friendly practices like their tubes, that are made out of bioplastic sugarcane, they have biodegradable cardboard boxes, and they use sustainable production and distribution practices. The brand is 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free, and is extremely effective which is why I keep coming back to this brand time and time again.
Personally I have had a great experience with this product and brand on many levels. When I first started using this product I had so much irritated and broken skin in my armpit region, but within a week of using this product all of my agitation quickly went away. I have found that I reapply the product about every three days, because I do have a very active lifestyle and shower a lot but I know some people do not have to apply until the five day mark. The company doesn’t really mention this on their site but I have also found that the darkness from hyperpigmentation in that area has also really lightened over time which has been an awesome side affect. The only side note I would add is that since it is based in Europe it takes about two weeks to ship to my address so I would recommend ordering ASAP and then have some patience. Through and through I have really enjoyed Nuud and will be using their product for a very long time!
