Featured Friday: The Garcia Family
Hello everyone and welcome back to our Featured Friday. How funny to be writing our 14th Featured Friday the week of Valentines Day, so obviously we wanted to give you a themed Friday! Time really does fly when your having fun. For this weeks Feature we definitely wanted to focus it around Valentines Day and being able to shop locally, so we couldn’t be more excited for the family were about to highlight! We hope after reading this blog you can go out and support this business and give a beautiful gift to your honeys for the romantic Holiday. It is known that Valentine’s Day is one of the most popular and profitable Holidays of the year, and there are so many local businesses and vendors that harness this day to be able to share their talents with their communities. Funny enough we were driving around Tracy looking for a business for our Friday and we quite literally stumbled upon the Garcia Family. We were driving through a random neighborhood to get to the other side of town when we saw a local family have the cutest Valentine’s set up in front of their house on their lawn. We pulled up to their display and was immediately warmly greeted by a young girl named Angela and a few members of her family. The young girl was extremely kind and very excited to talk to us about her families business, and was actually the translator between us and the rest of her family. When we asked about her goals for their set-up she told us that she wanted to buy her parents and family a home, my heart immediately gushed with admiration for this hard working and smart young women.
Their set up had a quite large assortment of different items to purchase that can fit all of your Valentines needs. The box we are displaying is an extremely cute and thoughtfully decorated gift box that has a bottle of sparkling cider, roses, chocolates, a candle, and other light decoration. Other items that they had also included stuffed animal bears, chocolate prop creations (purses and heels), flowers, and other themed gift sets. These make such thoughtful handmade gifts that you can give to anyone in your life for the holiday while you also support a local family.
This holiday is so special because to us it is a day to show the ones around you how much you love and care for them, and its always fun to have something to celebrate no matter the occasion. Valentines Day means something different to everyone every year, and no matter if your loving a significant other, friend, family member, pet, or just yourself this year, it does not change your worth or value as a person. So if that means buying yourself flowers or buying your mom a teddy bear or your significant other an arraignment from a local family like The Garcia family, we hope you have your own version of the perfect holiday. We love being able to connect and meet such intelligent souls like Angela and it fills our hearts to be able to promote and support such awesome local businesses.
