Featured Friday: Son and Garden
Hello everyone! Hope you all had an amazing and safe Thanksgiving yesterday, but more importantly, it's finally time to celebrate Christmas season! I like to give each holiday it's allotted festivity time, so I refuse to celebrate Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving. But today, we woke with an overwhelming sense of Christmas spirit and we are just so excited to get into all of the celebrations that come with Christmas. To us, Christmas means spending time with your loved ones and families, so we decided for this weeks Featured Friday we wanted to show case an amazing Bay Area Family owned restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. We appreciate everyone sending us amazing businesses and companies that we can highlight on our website, and we would love to continue to connect with outstanding people so please send over any businesses that you feel would fit great into our brand. This upcoming activity that we did for this blog was so absolutely fun and I cant wait for all of you to experience this restaurant, so lets jump into it!
Son and Garden is Farmhouse Kitchen Family’s newest venture, and this restaurant absolutely took my breath away! This brunch and lunch spot has two locations in San Francisco and Menlo Park, and these restaurant’s ambiance and food is just to die for. If you get the option to dine in at one of the restaurants you will be surrounded by the cutest instagram worthy decorations and aesthetic that will leave you with brunch photos too post for weeks. Seriously, I absolutely love decorations and attention to detail and these locations go above and beyond. However, unfortunately due to COVID we did not have the option to dine in so we decided to do their Tea Party to-go and honestly this experience was just as amazing. For starters, their customer service was immaculate! We had to call a few times to move our pick up times around, and we were consistently met with a helpful hand. We picked up our Tea Set and decided to picnic by the Dutch Windmill in SF, which the vibes were simply exquisite and the perfect place to enjoy the afternoon.
We really didn’t know what to expect when opening the Tea Set, but once we opened up our large box, each item continued to elevate the authenticity and sincerity of this restaurant. Seriously, their to-go set included everything you could imagine out of a beautiful Tea party, and it does not loose any quality just because its take out. They ensure that even when you cant dine-in your dining experience is still top notch, making their customers want to continue to come back time and time again for both dine-in experience or take out. Within the take out package they include a 3 tier dessert stand, finger sandwiches, pastries, desserts, tea, cutlery, fresh flowers, and lots of other cute details that show their quality through and through. The assembly was so easy and honestly really fun to be able to put everything together while also being reusable! For the rest of the afternoon, we snacked on our lunch, sipped our tea, and gazed at the park and windmill. It was such an amazing and beautiful time and I would recommend this to anybody looking to spend quality time with family, friends, or a significant other. We only got to experience a small portion of all the amazing things that this business does, and I am already so excited to be able to go back and enjoy their in person dining option and explore their full food menu.
Overall, this company really impressed OnBrand and we are so happy that we got to experience such a fun and different dining venture. From their company message, to their customer service, to their food, everything was so extremely impeccable. From the companies website, Son and Garden wants their customers to know “We hope to brighten your day with our colorful, delicious, and thoughtful creations. As always, we do not provide anything less than a perfect experience.” Hopefully this business gives you a new amazing idea of something that you can do with your loved ones this season. We hope you have a great weekend, and we will see you next week!
